The Show has evolved into a comprehensive multi-purpose business podium since its inception… In PGA parking lot back in 1954. In addition to nearly 1000 + vendors representing every business sector of golf from market leaders to start-up companies, golf industry leaders will address important issues; attend opportune education seminars and share “relevant” best practices; new golf employment initiatives will be launched; and professional networking will build important relationships. You as a student will may have the opportunity to be part of the mystique that transcends time; this is truly the Mecca of Golf.
The PGA Merchandise Show (PGAMS) constructs and host an Indoor Demo Day and features the country's largest indoor golf range equipment test center (ETC). Students may have the opportunity to assist companies or direct attendees to the area where they will or may experience hands-on testing of the newest equipment and the latest advances in technology and design from leading golf range layout of some 49 hitting bays, a putting green and a PGA Short Game Challenge Area. Student in the past have been given the full authority to host and coordinate the Short Game area… you have no idea whom you may meet, be on your toes, you just may get a lesson form one of the world’s greatest.
Just prior to the PGAMS there is a PGA Annual Demo Day to kick off the PGA Merchandise Show. The Demo Day is hosted by Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge and as a student in the Orlando area you may be provide a great opportunity to see, feel, work and test in real conditions, the latest in technology advancements by the leading manufacturers in the golf business. Students get to assist in the set-us of more than 80 golf equipment companies… all in one place: You will see the newest drivers, woods, irons, wedges, putters, balls, shafts, grips, club-fitting best practices, scoring clinics and instructional aids and more.
